Reviews:
* If you want a mature, comfortable full-size sedan with the presence and prestige for which Cadillac is known, the XTS fits the bill in a contemporary suit. On the value side of the equation, the XTS undercuts most European and Japanese rivals while still offering plenty of standard features. Source: KBB.com
* Spacious interior with quality materials; impressive number of high-tech features; available all-wheel drive; new twin-turbo V6 brings serious speed. Source: Edmunds
* Every aspect of the 2014 Cadillac XTS was designed with both form and function in mind. The air slips around the artfully chiseled side-view mirrors, meticulously honed for countless hours to reduce wind noise and silence the cabin. The same approximate size as a 48-inch flat-panel television, the available UltraView sunroof spans both rows of seats and offers a view that exceeds high-definition. Stunning 20-inch wheels are standard on the Platinum Collection and available on the Premium Collection, while an artful 19-inch design completes the Luxury Collection. The cabin in the XTS rewards each passenger individually. Pressure-mapping technology was used extensively to optimize front-seat comfort, and rear passengers enjoy separate control of the available tri-zone climate system. The XTS also sets another standard featuring best-in-class rear legroom. For cold winter mornings, the warmth of an available heated steering wheel is the perfect antidote. Look no further than the XTS Platinum Collection. Perforated Opus full-leather seats are renowned for their supple feel, while highly polished premium wood trim is so deeply grained it takes on extra dimension. Powerful yet remarkably efficient, the XTS delivers an exhilarating driving experience with a refined 305HP 3.6L direct-injection V6. Featured on the XTS Vsport Premium and Platinum Collections the new 3.6L Twin Turbo V6 adds a considerable boost in power, 410HP. With the ability to use multitouch gestures like tap, swipe, and pinch, the available CUE is as easy to use as a smartphone or tablet. Find a song, make a call, input destinations through the available navigation system, and more through voice recognition. Indulge your auditory senses with the available 14-speaker Bose Studio Surround Sound system designed exclusively for the XTS. Available radar and ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear assist in helping to prevent collisions by activating brakes automatically at lower speeds. Source: The Manufacturer Summary

By to days standards this is a beautiful automobile compared to most others but does not compare in design, comfort, ride of the older models but neither does Lincoln . It is a very nice car but most cars seem to be clones of one another, Chrysler is doing a great job on styling. I had a cts wagon and loved it, fun to drive, I felt I needed to upgrade, tried Lexus, Lincoln, but decided on the xts because of my service center, they are great. You cannot go wrong this car. Nice car .

This is a car that was slow in arriving due to GM's financial problems, but it finally arrived in the late summer of 2012. I have always driven Sedan DeVille's, a SeVille, and a DTS in past years about 8 in the last 25 years. I expected much from this car, and for the most part Cadillac delivered. The car offers most anything one could ask for, and a couple of things that really serve no purpose such as the "CUE" System. I'm told if you own a I Phone CUE is easy to adapt to. It takes a few days to figure it out, but you'll get it. I just think it's silly to have to go thru several touch screens just to turn the A/C on, but that's me. Most everything is controled by touch commands or voice commnands. Of course half the time you have to keep repeating voice commands, and I have perfect language skills. I can't speak for a 2014 XTS, but my 13 has a lot of minor problems that are easily corrected, but these should have been corrected in manufacturing. Oh well, you'll still love this car. Plenty of room both front and rear, and a cabin that's whisper quiet thanks to new sound insulation throughout. It's almost erie it's so quiet. Great milage in city driving...18.9. That's great for a car over 4400 lbs. I would have preferred a V8, but the V6 has adiquit power. Perfect fit and finish, and loaded with new technology.

The CUE system is harder to master than anticipated especially when driving. The XTS is underpowered and definitely needs 50 to 75 more horsepower perhaps as an option. The exterior and interior styling is beautiful and the ride is exceptional. I have owned the car for 5 months and have 4000 miles on it.
